Early Years (Nursery / FS1 - Reception / FS2):

A thriving Nursery Department offers the British Guide lines known as the Birth to three Framework (DFEE).
In foundation classes structured activities involve the young learner in carefully planned activities that are divided into six areas of learning and development:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
• Communication, Language and Literacy.
• Mathematical Development.
• Knowledge and Understanding of the World.
• Physical Development.
• Creative Development.

This well resourced department liaises carefully with the Primary School to ensure a smooth transition of pupils into the next phase of education within the Primary Department.
