SMART Commercial Studies Department starting from the academic year 2011-2012
Being an international school, we are aware of the learning needs of our students coming from Egypt and other countries around the world. In order to create more opportunities for learning and skill building, we are delighted to announce the opening of SMART Commercial Studies Department starting from the academic year 2011-2012.
This department will offer a diversified portfolio of subjects which would not only fulfil the needs of our students but also enable them to explore new career opportunities of their choice in the competitive practical world after graduation.
In addition to the regular group of Core Subjects i.e. English, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics taught at the senior school to fulfil the requirements to join the scientific faculties (Faculty of Medicine, Engineering, and Dentistry etc), students seeking to join the commercial studies faculties (Faculty of Commerce, Political Science and Mass Communication etc) will have the opportunity to choose from the following subjects:

Economics (OL/AL)
Accounting (OL/AL)
ICT (OL/AL)
Mathematics (OL/AL)
English (OL/ AL)
Modern Foreign Languages (French/ German)

The Commercial Studies Department will offer courses and workshops run by professionals to develop knowledge and skills of students in different areas including:
· Introduction to Business Administration
· Principles of Management
· Principles of Marketing
· Effective Communication Skills
· Essentials of Organizational Behaviour
