Governors wish to appoint a special Head Teacher for the Primary School, who has the skills, aspiration, drive and ambition to lead the whole primary school community, to sustain and build on the school's recent successful results and our progress of year on year improvement in pupil attainment and achievement.

With the following job description
1. Reports directly to the Executive Director.
2. Applying the Cambridge International Primary Programme.
3. Assurance of applying the British national curriculum scheme of work for Non-Core Subjects.
4. Curriculum mapping.
5. Divides curriculum into blocks to fit the school year (plan of work).
6. Designing and timetabling the primary.
7. Works with teachers to give them the full plan of work for the year, for the term, and the week.
8. Inspects the teachers' preparedness for work (Planning Books).
9. In-class monitoring for both students and teachers.
10. Observes and works with teachers on teaching, giving support and guidance.
11. Holds regular or special staff meeting throughout the year.
12. Controls all assessment processes and reporting to parents.
13. Follows up on the smooth running of the day (lateness, absences...).
14. Gives permission for absences of staff, students.
15. Is responsible for the well-being of the staff and student body.
16. Directing the general activity of the primary school, setting the moral tone, embodying the mission statement.
17. Book ordering and selection of the proper text books.
18. Chooses books, materials, teachers' resources to implement curriculum.
19. Meets parents, heads formal parent/teacher meetings, discusses problems with parents and sets up action plans to solve problems.
20. Handles low-level inquiries, and refers serious conflicts to Executive Director for arbitration.
21. Handles all plans extra-curricular (e.g. staff trips, school trips ..... etc.).
22. Has charge of the teachers helping in recruitment, placing, training, evaluation, and assessing of class teachers, and assistant teachers.
23. Decides special arrangements, e.g. special needs activities and staff or e.g. new students entering late during year.
24. Partaking in all aspects of school life such as: staff meetings, open days, parents-teachers meetings, newsletters, etc....
